About the position

The Consumer Benefits Specialist at Bridgeway is responsible for managing and implementing the Representative Payee Services Program, providing specialized consumer benefits services to individuals receiving support. This role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, offering counseling and training on consumer benefits, and maintaining accurate financial documentation for clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements and Bridgeway expectations.
• Provide specialized entitlement, consumer benefits counseling and skills training services to individuals receiving services through Bridgeway.
• Ensure orientation of consumers to representative payee services policies and procedures.
• Maintain accounting documentation of all financial transactions of each individual receiving representative payee services.
• Ensure that consumer basic needs are met including paying bills and involving consumers as much as possible.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with one to two years of related financial experience.
• Experience in human services is desirable.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and any required testing.
