About the position

The Consumer Credit Card Portfolio Manager II or III will be responsible for managing and optimizing the consumer credit card portfolio at Ent Credit Union. This role focuses on ensuring profitability and growth while mitigating risks associated with the portfolio. The manager will develop strategies, analyze market trends, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance credit card offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the consumer credit card portfolio to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize portfolio performance.
  • Analyze portfolio trends, market conditions, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new credit card products and enhance existing offerings.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance across all portfolio activities.
  • Lead data-driven decision-making processes to optimize credit policies and underwriting criteria.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including credit bureaus and card networks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast portfolio performance and assess potential impacts of market changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in credit card portfolio management or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer credit industry, credit card products, and regulations.
  • Experience with risk management and credit risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • CFA or FRM certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
