About the position

The Consumer Credit Expert at PNC Financial Services Group plays a crucial role in supporting the Asset Management Group (AMG) within the Credit Risk Management organization. This position focuses on 2LOD credit risk oversight, which includes monitoring the AMG portfolio, analyzing performance trends, and collaborating with sales and underwriting teams to expand client opportunities. The role requires a deep understanding of credit risk processes and the ability to implement effective risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the AMG portfolio, monitoring performance and reporting on trends.
• Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to expand client opportunities.
• Participate in whiteboard meetings and prescreens.
• Review credit approval processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Deploy monitoring mechanisms for early performance management.
• Analyze economic and regulatory trends affecting borrowers and initiate relevant analyses.
• Manage and update credit transaction models within defined asset classes.
• Ensure adherence to model management processes, including validation and testing.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in Commercial Underwriting/Credit risk.
• Strong analytical thinking and credit risk knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across AMG business lines.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer and commercial credit policy.
