About the position

The Consumer Credit Servicing Representative at Evans & Mullinix, P.A. is responsible for providing exceptional service to consumers, assisting them with debt repayment strategies, and ensuring a positive experience. This role involves direct interaction with consumers to address their needs and resolve account issues, while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to consumers to create memorable experiences.
• Advise consumers on necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
• Answer consumer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
• Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules.
• Locate and notify consumers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters.
• Conduct skip tracing to locate assets and consumers.
• Negotiate repayment with consumers through full payments, settlements, or payment arrangements.

Requirements

• Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all company, client, state, and federal regulations.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
• Strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
• Maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer equipment and systems including MS Office.
