About the position

The UX Writer/Content Designer will work on a 6-month contract in Mountain View, CA, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to create a cohesive language and unified voice across products and platforms. The role focuses on delivering compelling product narratives and enhancing user experiences through clear and intuitive content design.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive product experiences through clear language that helps users accomplish their goals.
• Support the team in defining product vision and narratives across multiple platforms and touch points.
• Use skills in simplifying and improving user experiences to create a cohesive experience.
• Apply established style guidelines and UX content best practices on complex products and tools.
• Support senior key decision makers by contributing to studies, workshops, and reviews that drive the product work.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, content design, or related fields, as well as leading content strategy projects.
• Experience in UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX writing excellence, tone and voice, writing guidelines, and other standards.
• Strong record of independence and success in UX writing, including skills like establishing frameworks, content patterns, and voice and tone.

• Experience with complex products and tools in a technology environment.
