About the position

The Consumer Lender is responsible for managing a consumer loan portfolio, making credit decisions, ensuring credit quality, and generating fee income to help clients achieve their financial health goals. The role emphasizes providing an exceptional client experience while managing various lending products and services, including credit card lending and real estate lending.

Responsibilities

• Manage a consumer loan portfolio, ensuring credit quality and profitability.
• Assist clients with credit card lending, ready reserves, and consumer lending.
• Analyze loan data on new, renewal, and existing loans, including credit bureau information.
• Monitor loans in repayment and collect past due loans and loans in default.
• Provide high-quality customer service to walk-in customers and incoming calls.
• Attract consumer business to Profinium's products and services through various outreach methods.
• Achieve personal and team goals set by management and assist in achieving branch objectives.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to lending and customer service.
• Promote a positive and energetic work environment aligned with Profinium's core values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in a community bank.
• At least 1 year of experience in a lending position in a community bank.
• 5+ years of customer service experience.
• Ability to meet qualifications for registration with the Federal Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS).
• High numerical aptitude and dexterity to count money.
• Proficient in computer skills and office equipment utilization.
