As a Consumer Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our members with their financial and lending needs. You will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, processing, and documenting all necessary forms and documentation for consumer loan products. In this dynamic and challenging work environment, you will engage with the public in a face-to-face setting, providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include interviewing loan applicants to determine their needs, reviewing documentation to secure loans, and assisting members in completing loan applications. You will also evaluate credit reports and make outbound calls to solicit loan applications, ensuring that you meet the goals set for your position. Additionally, you will determine collateral needs and payment plans for members applying for routine loans, notify applicants of loan decisions, and correspond with members, applicants, and creditors to resolve any questions regarding application information.
