About the position

The Consumer Loan Operations Specialist at Enterprise Bank & Trust plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of the post-closing loan lifecycle, including funding, boarding, servicing, and payoff. This position requires collaboration with third parties, lending teams, and operational departments to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient loan processing.

Responsibilities

• Process all monetary aspects of funding loans including initial and subsequent disbursements and other types of draws.
• Reconcile general ledger and operational accounts.
• Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy to book loans and credit cards to the core processing system.
• Identify critical original documentation needed for preservation and loan maintenance.
• Manage all aspects of servicing loans and credit cards, including customer service and loan maintenance.
• Administer loan escrow accounts and payments, payoff requests, lien releases, and credit bureau reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of banking or financial services industry experience required or Bachelor's or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-centric environment.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of technology including loan origination and core banking systems.
• Detail-oriented and well organized.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Motivated and open to change.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Google-based products (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, nCino, or FIS Bankway is a plus.
