The Consumer Loan Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting both new and existing customers through the lending process, providing personal installment loans to help meet their financial needs. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in consumer finance, with a focus on customer service, sales goals, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist every customer in a professional manner
- Market new loans to existing and new customers through solicitation calls
- Educate and upsell customers on all product offerings including loan options and insurance products
- Process loan applications to determine customer eligibility
- Work with past due customers to bring their account current through collection calls
Requirements
- Customer service mindset
- Experience with sales and/or customer service
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
- High School diploma or equivalent.
