About the position

As a Consumer Product Marketing Manager at Meta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for products that are utilized by billions of users globally. This position is designed for an experienced marketer who is not only data-driven but also consumer-focused, with a passion for connecting consumers with innovative products. You will be responsible for leading both inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives, which includes influencing product strategies and positioning tailored for specific target audiences. Your work will involve close collaboration with various teams, including research, product, communications, and policy, to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with product development and company goals. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that encompass setting goals, defining metrics for success, and creating marketing assets. You will also engage in integrated launch planning with cross-functional partners to ensure that product launches are successful and resonate with consumers. Your ability to tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset will be essential, as you will need to create thoughtful recommendations and action plans to address challenges that arise in the marketing process. The Consumer Product Marketing Manager will also partner with brand and integrated marketing teams to devise outbound marketing and advertising strategies aimed at driving product awareness, adoption, and long-term engagement. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and creativity, as you will need to analyze data to inform marketing strategies while also crafting compelling narratives that engage consumers. Responsibilities

  • Influence and shape product strategies, positioning and narratives through the use of data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with research, product, comms and policy.
  • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies including goals, metrics for success, asset development and integrated launch planning with cross functional partners.
  • Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive awareness, adoption and long term engagement.
  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-time experience in Marketing
  • Direct experience in Product Marketing, partnering closely with Product teams
  • Experience with consumer GTM strategies based on consumer driven insights
  • Experience with consumer facing product launches and consumer campaigns
  • Experience working with product, marketing, policy and communications teams at all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience driving presentations with executives and cross functional teams
  • Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous online and offline marketing campaigns with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience
