About the position

As a Consumer Product Marketing Manager at Meta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for products that are utilized by billions of users globally. This position is integral to our product marketing team, which is dedicated to supporting our diverse global audience across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Reality Labs. Your primary responsibility will be to lead both inbound and outbound marketing initiatives, ensuring that our products resonate with target audiences and drive significant engagement and adoption. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to influence product strategies and narratives, collaborating closely with research, product, communications, and policy teams. You will be tasked with developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies that encompass goal setting, success metrics, asset development, and integrated launch planning. Your ability to partner effectively with brand and integrated marketing teams will be crucial in crafting outbound marketing and advertising strategies that enhance product awareness and foster long-term consumer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, capable of tackling complex challenges and formulating actionable recommendations. You will be expected to drive presentations to executives and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and clarity in our marketing efforts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where your analytical and creative skills will be put to the test as you connect consumers with innovative products.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and shape product strategies, positioning, and narratives through the use of data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with research, product, comms, and policy.
  • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies including goals, metrics for success, asset development, and integrated launch planning with cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive awareness, adoption, and long-term engagement.
  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-time experience in Marketing.
  • Direct experience in Product Marketing, partnering closely with Product teams.
  • Experience with consumer GTM strategies based on consumer-driven insights.
  • Experience with consumer-facing product launches and consumer campaigns.
  • Experience working with product, marketing, policy, and communications teams at all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Experience driving presentations with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous online and offline marketing campaigns with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Project management experience.
