About the position

As a Consumer Product Marketing Manager at Meta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for products that are utilized by billions of users globally. This position is integral to our product marketing team, which is dedicated to supporting our diverse global audience across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Reality Labs. Your primary responsibility will be to lead both inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives, ensuring that our products are effectively positioned and marketed to target audiences. You will leverage data-driven insights to influence product strategies and narratives, collaborating closely with research, product, communications, and policy teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in our marketing efforts. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that encompass setting goals, defining metrics for success, and coordinating asset development and integrated launch planning with cross-functional partners. Your ability to tackle complex marketing challenges with a strategic mindset will be essential, as you will be expected to create thoughtful recommendations and actionable plans to address these challenges. You will also partner with brand and integrated marketing teams to devise outbound marketing and advertising strategies that drive product awareness, adoption, and long-term consumer engagement. Responsibilities

  • Influence and shape product strategies, positioning, and narratives through the use of data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with research, product, comms, and policy.
  • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies including goals, metrics for success, asset development, and integrated launch planning with cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive awareness, adoption, and long-term engagement.
  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-time experience in Marketing
  • Direct experience in Product Marketing, partnering closely with Product teams
  • Experience with consumer GTM strategies based on consumer-driven insights
  • Experience with consumer-facing product launches and consumer campaigns
  • Experience working with product, marketing, policy, and communications teams at all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience driving presentations with executives and cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous online and offline marketing campaigns with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience

Benefits

  • $122,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
