About the position

The Contact Center Care Coordinator will provide exceptional customer service and support to members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals within a healthcare organization. This role involves managing communications, resolving issues, and assisting with healthcare service access, ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls, and emails to support members in accessing healthcare services, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries regarding medical procedures, billing, and general information.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues following established protocols and guidelines, escalating urgent matters or complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about medical procedures, services, and facilities.
  • Assisting providers and members in using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and web portal.
  • Documenting all calls/contacts as required by department standards in a timely, clear, and concise manner using the internal tracking system.
  • Supporting robocall and ad-hoc member outreach activities as determined by business need.
  • Accessing documents using Microsoft Office and other applicable software, as designated by management.
  • Performing general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service
  • Bilingual in Spanish
