About the position

The Contact Center Modernization Sales Director at Accenture is a growth-focused sales professional responsible for driving new sales opportunities in the contact center modernization space. This role involves developing relationships with key decision-makers, creating solutions to complex technology business problems, and leading the sales cycle from qualification to closure. The director will focus on migrating legacy contact center solutions to cloud platforms, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class omnichannel experiences for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Originate new sales opportunities unrelated to extensions or renewals in a complex environment.
  • Lead early-stage positioning with clients and develop the origination strategy to identify and qualify specific opportunities.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure closure of sales.
  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
  • Focus on contact center modernization solutions, particularly migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms.
  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture to determine pursuit strategies and develop client messaging plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of Business Development or Solution Selling in professional services, particularly in Technology Services, Contact Center Solutions, or Cloud enablement.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in selling or solutioning modernization, migration, or cloud contact center deals of $25M+.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in direct sales with a quota preferably in excess of $50M.
  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience selling Cloud Contact Center solutions like Amazon Connect or GCP CCAI.
  • Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle including customer identification, outreach, proposal creation, contract negotiations, and closing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in the North America market.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working within G2000 customers.
  • Previous experience in cloud migration, modernization, or cloud managed services.
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft, or GCP technology-led cloud deals.
  • Experience in building and managing C-Level client relationships.
  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
