About the position

As a Contact Center Specialist at Iowa Community Choice Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our members. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with members through various channels, ensuring their financial needs are met while promoting our products and services. This position focuses on providing a delightful and personalized banking experience, handling transactions, and supporting members with their inquiries and account maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with members across multiple channels including inbound calls, ITM sessions, secure messages, and website contact leads.
  • Facilitate transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and issuance of cashiers checks.
  • Provide personalized assistance to understand the financial needs of members and actively refer them to appropriate channels.
  • Educate members on the features and benefits of various banking products, including loans, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit.
  • Update member information and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards in all interactions and transactions.
  • Utilize credit union software and technology to efficiently process transactions and access member information.
  • Assist members with digital banking tools and educate them on online services.
  • Execute account maintenance while maintaining strict adherence to Community Choices protocols.
  • Prioritize accuracy in transaction handling and promptly address member inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of cash-handling and/or retail experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
