About the position

The Content and Livestream Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting media operations, technical setup, and backend management during livestream events. This role requires collaboration with team members to ensure high-quality content delivery and effective engagement with viewers, particularly in a bilingual Mandarin and English environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various aspects of media operations, including content planning, script improvement, and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the department head to develop work plans, track progress, and summarize results.
  • Coordinate with team members to clarify content and processes for media campaigns.
  • Set up the livestream environment, adjust equipment (lighting, microphones), organize product displays, and ensure all equipment functions properly.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for technical issues, such as video lag and audio clarity.
  • Monitor performance metrics in real time and work with team members to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Analyze media campaign performance to optimize future efforts, ensuring high-quality content and effective engagement.
  • Verify links, titles, and pricing prior to each livestream.
  • Manage equipment setup and backend operations during the stream.
  • Oversee backend tasks, including product listings, pricing, inventory adjustments, creating an engaging atmosphere, supporting hosts with product presentations, interacting with viewers, guiding orders, and maintaining order in the livestream room for seamless communication.
  • Address malicious comments, complaints, and unforeseen issues promptly to ensure a smooth livestream experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in TikTok e-commerce sales is required.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin required.
  • Strong market awareness with a solid understanding of product trends and pricing dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and comfort in interacting with brands, hosts, and viewers in a multilingual environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with the ability to address unexpected issues calmly and effectively during livestreams.
  • Familiarity with livestream platform guidelines and operational protocols (including prohibited terms and GNE policies).
  • Proficiency in TikTok Live Studio and related software.
  • A keen awareness of industry trends and techniques, combined with sound judgment.
  • Strong execution skills, proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility for early or late shifts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with livestreaming related software and tools.
  • Additional language proficiency beyond Mandarin and English.
