About the position

As a Content and SEO Marketing Manager at NoGood, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our agency and our clients. We are a dynamic team of growth leads, creatives, and data scientists dedicated to unlocking rapid, measurable growth for some of the world's leading brands. Our client portfolio includes a mix of VC-backed startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 companies, such as Nike, Oura, Spring Health, TikTok, Intuit, and P&G. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing site traffic for NoGood and our diverse clients across various sectors, including Consumer, B2B SaaS, and Healthcare. You will leverage your strong SEO expertise to bridge the gap between SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and content creation, ensuring that best practices are implemented effectively. Your passion for achieving business goals through optimizing site content, experience, and code will be crucial in improving rankings and driving qualified traffic and leads. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in content marketing and SEO, with a proven track record of driving high volumes of organic traffic growth. You will be expected to provide strategic insights and results to clients, including senior executives such as VPs and CMOs. Your strong editorial skills will enable you to review, optimize, and publish content efficiently, while your technical knowledge will help you identify and resolve SEO issues promptly. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining content calendars and project schedules, ensuring that all initiatives are executed on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive content marketing initiatives for NoGood and its partners.
  • Liaise with Product and Marketing teams to implement technical SEO best practices for NoGood and clients.
  • Leverage keyword and competitor research to formulate content calendars for clients.
  • Analyze data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs to develop actionable plans for increasing organic traffic.
  • Understand client customers to influence content production strategies.
  • Write and produce content that adheres to SEO best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of content marketing and SEO experience driving organic traffic growth.
  • Experience providing content and SEO strategy to clients, including VPs and CMOs.
  • Strong editorial background for reviewing, optimizing, and publishing content quickly.
  • Experience with Google Custom Search, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to create and maintain content calendars using project management tools.
  • Knowledge of digital PR and outreach processes for link building.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for identifying and fixing technical SEO issues.
  • Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills for internal and external collaboration.
  • Technical learner with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS, DTC, or Healthcare sectors.
  • Experience using SEO tools like Screaming Frog, SEMRush, MOZ, Ahrefs, and CRO tools like Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, CrazyEgg.
