As the Content Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager for AP Classroom at College Board, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and analyzing the content management needs for all new and existing courses and their content-driven features. The AP (Advanced Placement) Program provides students with the opportunity to engage in college-level work while still in high school, and AP Classroom serves as a vital support platform for both teachers and students. Since its launch in 2019, AP Classroom has become the most popular Learning Management System (LMS) in U.S. high schools, serving over 185,000 teachers and 3.4 million students across more than 17,000 schools. The platform facilitates approximately 700,000 visits daily during the academic year, offering a growing number of courses and a substantial question bank, which has generated valuable insights into student learning patterns and needs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving project management efforts, supporting scope analysis for new course launches, course revisions, and annual content updates. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and internal stakeholders to plan and prioritize the course roadmap, manage scrum ceremonies for content teams, and create project dashboards to communicate status and progress effectively. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you troubleshoot content and metadata ingestion issues, gather and analyze data for existing and new courses, and contribute to process improvements in content management. Additionally, you will be tasked with writing clear business requirements and supporting documents, assisting Product Owners with user acceptance testing, and researching enhancements for content management. Your ability to work independently and proactively will be essential as you navigate the complexities of content management and project coordination within the AP Classroom environment.
