About The Position
PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Content & Communications Intern to assist members of the Content Team in the production of content marketing deliverables. The individual should have strong research and writing skills and an interest in digital marketing, such as social, blog, email, webinar, podcast, and website content. The individual must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and know, or be willing to learn, SharePoint and Teams. The Content & Communications Intern works with the Content Team to brainstorm concepts and determine appropriate solutions for deliverables that are consistent with the PSECU Style Guide. Creativity, attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to following department processes are important to this position. The Content & Communications Intern is responsible for controlling his/her own workflow and projects. Work is characterized by considerable independence in the day-to-day operations, subject to review of the Content and Communications Strategist and other full-time team members. Work requires interactions with the broader PSECU Marketing Communications team, other management and staff, and possibly outside specialists and vendors.
