About the position

The Content Creator and Social Communications Manager at goodwipes is responsible for managing and executing the brand's organic social media strategy, focusing on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This role involves content creation, community engagement, and ensuring brand messaging aligns with company objectives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, possess strong communication skills, and have a knack for storytelling, all while promoting a fun and taboo-busting brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the conceptualization, creation, posting, and community management across all goodwipes owned accounts, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Film and edit content, both in-platform and leveraging external tools (i.e. CapCut) to create engaging and thumb-stopping social content.
  • Expand and engage with our social media community, including daily listening, prospecting, maintenance, conversation, and monitoring across platforms.
  • Ensure messaging and brand voice are consistent with brand objectives/visual identity while aligning with platform best practices and trends.
  • Write engaging and compelling copy, with the ability to tell stories and grow share of voice across posts, platforms, and campaigns.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the marketing department to ensure proper social support of ongoing priorities and initiatives such as innovation launches, partnerships, and eCommerce events.
  • Provide organic social media and social listening reporting, insights, and optimizations that align with KPIs.
  • Translate performance and analytic data to actionable insights and strategy changes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media & content creation for a food, beverage, beauty, or lifestyle brand.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths, nuances, success metrics, and relevant demographics.
  • Experience managing social media, preferably for a CPG and/or health & wellness brand.
  • Strong working knowledge of the competitive landscape, especially mid-scale CPG + wellness brands.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience in social media content creation.
  • Experience with Dash Hudson, Later and/or Sprout Social (or similar) platforms.
