About the position

The Content Creator at Pinkston is responsible for collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute innovative social media campaigns that align with client branding and messaging. This role involves creating engaging content across various platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and staying updated on social media trends to optimize client engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, social media management, and a keen eye for design.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and strategize with internal teams to create organic social media content that aligns with clients' brand messaging, tone and style.
  • Develop creative and compelling content, including graphics, reels, videos, photos, etc., for clients' social media channels.
  • Develop and execute organic social media campaigns that strategically align with client goals and brand voice.
  • Stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure content is optimized for maximum engagement.
  • Proofread, edit, and review content for accuracy and optimization across social platforms.
  • Provide recommendations to clients across multiple platforms to help meet their social media goals.
  • Generate regular analytic reports for clients across multiple social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and a strong understanding of social media algorithms and metrics.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools such as Sprout Social.
  • A keen eye for design and still photography and/or videography.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change, meet deadlines, and prioritize client deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage simultaneous projects and short deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of experience in social media content creation and management.
  • Experience with launching and overseeing social media ads and boosted posts.
