About the position
The Content Creator for iGaming at BetMGM is responsible for developing and executing high-quality content across various social media channels. This role involves collaborating with production teams, strategizing growth on social media, and monitoring performance to ensure BetMGM remains a leader in the online gaming market. The position requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for social media, with a focus on engaging the audience and enhancing brand visibility.
Responsibilities
- Concept and execute high-quality content across all iGaming social media channels daily, including copywriting
- Publish all iGaming social media content and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars
- Work closely with video and graphic production teams to bring concepts to life, proposing real-time content based on social media trends and topics
- Support Social Media Content Manager in strategizing growth across a variety of identified KPI's for existing and emerging social media channels
- Curate and develop channel-specific content that drives growth in determined KPIs
- Monitor performance versus competitors, evolving content to keep BetMGM Poker and BetMGM Casino top of mind in the market
- Act as on the ground social media support at live events and poker tournaments as needed, sometimes leveraging ambassadors and influencer talent to amplify our brand messaging
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ year of experience working professionally in social media management or content creation
- Outstanding communication skills and abundant creativity
- An intrinsic sense of organization and motivation
- Ability to efficiently set and execute short-term and longer-term plans
- Verifiable skills with full Adobe creative suite: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- A sincere passion for social media
Nice-to-haves
- Strong knowledge of iGaming preferred but not required
- Experience with Sprout Social preferred but not required
