Gunpowder Media is seeking a talented and creative Public Relations Specialist to enhance and shape the brand's voice. This role involves crafting compelling content and managing public relations efforts, contributing to the company's innovative strategies in the media industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on competitors, industry trends, and relevant topics to inform content creation
• Produce high-quality, engaging content for our website, including articles, blog posts, and web copy
• Create compelling social media content to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience
• Write impactful press releases and public statements to effectively communicate with media and the public
• Coordinate with media outlets to manage announcements and publicity efforts
• Organize and execute events to promote our brand and strengthen public relations
• Develop and structure training manuals and other client-facing documents to ensure clear and effective communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Technical Writing, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
• Relevant experience in Public Relations or related fields
• Proven expertise in writing engaging content for websites, social media, and public communications
• Strong portfolio of writing samples, including web copy, blog posts, press releases, and social media content
• Ability to provide 2-3 professional references
• Enthusiasm for research, writing, and managing public relations efforts
