About The Position

The content creator & associate writer will be responsible for planning and producing engaging web content for Setlist.FM and other Live Nation properties. This role requires a passion for music and data, along with a proactive approach to content creation and collaboration within the editorial team.

Requirements

• Must be a current student enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program at an accredited college or university or a recent graduate
• A passion for live music and knowledge of the live music industry
• Some experience writing - blogs, tweets, short-form is acceptable
• Demonstrate excitement to brainstorm and contribute in weekly editorial meetings
• Open to and comfortable with both giving and receiving feedback
• Carry out all assignments in an organized and timely manner

Responsibilities

• Write 5-10 blogs weekly based on music news and site traffic data
• Assist Editorial Director in managing the editorial calendar
• Contribute ideas in weekly editorial meetings and brainstorm sessions
• Research and fact-check content
• Interview artists
• Generate creative ideas based on site analytics and social trends
