About the position

KMPH FOX26/KFRE CW59 is seeking a talented Content Creator to join their Creative Services Team. This role involves creating, conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing compelling content to support business clients and promote news and programming products across various digital and linear broadcast streams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the impact of social media on content delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create content including video and graphics for social media, broadcast TV, and other delivery streams for commercial clients.
• Write compelling copy that maximizes audience impact on each platform.
• Interact with Sales, News, Marketing, and management to ensure content adheres to brand goals.
• Explore innovative ways to create content that efficiently reaches audiences.
• Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Work directly with commercial clients to fulfill their marketing needs.
• Participate in station events and community appearances as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in writing powerful, attention-grabbing copy.
• A college degree and two years of previous experience in social or broadcast content creation (professionally or academically).
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Ability to create, conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit cutting-edge content while managing deadlines.
• Professional shooting skills and a good understanding of graphics and visual effects.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of top social media platforms and best practices for posting.
• Highly creative with strong communication skills.
• Good client relations experience.
