About the position

The Content Creator at American Construction Supply & Rental Inc. is responsible for developing engaging and high-quality content that enhances the company's brand presence. This role involves collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager to create various digital assets, including graphics, videos, and social media posts, to support marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should be passionate about content production and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create original content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and the company website, including graphics, videos, infographics, and written posts.
  • Utilize design tools and software to produce engaging visual assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across relevant channels.
  • Track content performance metrics across channels and make data-driven adjustments to improve reach and engagement.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager & Marketing Director to align content with broader campaign objectives and brand messaging.
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives, contributing to cross-department projects as needed.
  • Plan and implement all aspects of video production projects.
  • Maintain creative consistency across verticals, ensuring all projects align with the brand strategy and creative vision.
  • Develop and plan storyboards, shot lists, and scripts.
  • Input sound to enhance footage, which may include sourcing music, sound effects, and voice-overs.
  • Design and animate motion graphic and visual effects.
  • Maintain upkeep and safeguard all assigned company-owned equipment.
  • Travel as needed to local and remote industry events, and video shoots.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Communicate with outside sales to meet production timelines and job parameters.
  • Create archives and databases of proprietary video and film assets.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in graphic design, video editing, and other multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong creative, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics.
  • 1+ years related professional videography, editing, and production experience in a creative environment, including either in-house or external agency.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with podcast production, social media algorithms, and experience with LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Highly creative with skills to generate captivating ideas and compelling stories.
  • Advanced knowledge of setup and operation of audio recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones.
