About the position

The Content Creator position at CBS2 and Fox9 involves creating, conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing engaging content to support business clients and promote news and programming across various digital and linear broadcast platforms. The role requires collaboration with different departments and a strong understanding of social media to effectively reach audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create content including video and graphics for social media, broadcast TV, and other delivery streams for commercial clients.
• Write compelling copy that maximizes audience impact on each platform.
• Interact with Sales, News, Marketing, and management to ensure content aligns with brand goals.
• Explore innovative ways to create content that efficiently reaches audiences.
• Meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality content.
• Work directly with commercial clients to fulfill their marketing needs.
• Participate in station events and community appearances.
• Maintain a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects.
• A resume reel showcasing personal, academic, and professional projects.
• Talent for writing engaging and imaginative copy.
• Ability to shoot captivating, cinematic video.
• A college degree and two years of experience in social or broadcast content creation.
• Ability to produce content from conception to post, managing deadlines effectively.
• Strong understanding of graphics and visual effects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of top social media platforms and best practices for posting.
• Highly creative with strong communication skills.
• Good client relations experience.
