Berkley Aspire is seeking an inspired Content Creator to join our dynamic and growing marketing and communications team. This role is designed for a creative individual who is not only a skilled copywriter and editor but also possesses a flair for graphic design, video production, public relations, digital marketing, or photography. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, where they will be responsible for creating a comprehensive and dynamic content library that will be regularly refreshed and rotated across our digital properties. The position will be based on-site with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. As a Content Creator, you will be expected to create engaging copy for various marketing materials, including brochures, email campaigns, product descriptions, and conference collateral. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with the marketing team to identify content themes, messaging, and storytelling opportunities. Additionally, you will engage with leadership, underwriting, and distribution teams to understand product needs and the competitive landscape, ensuring that the content aligns with the branding and narrative of Aspire. Staying ahead of the latest trends and interests related to content management will be crucial to your success in this position. The role demands a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities

  • Create copy for brochures, email campaigns, product descriptions, and conference collateral.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify content themes, messaging, and storytelling opportunities.
  • Work with leadership, underwriting, and distribution teams to understand product needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Gain an understanding of branding and the Aspire story for look, feel, voice, and tone.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends, interests, and passions related to content management.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or communications preferred but not required.
  • 2-5 years' experience working with a content team in an agency, content studio, or corporate setting.
  • Experience creating innovative email campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Hands-on experience creating a variety of content types, including video, TikTok, YouTube, using Canva, Photoshop, and other platforms.
  • Some skills with videography and editing, as well as photography.
  • Art direction and design experience.
  • Strong storytelling skills and a sense of humor.
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas to the team and take feedback positively.
  • Skilled in prioritization, organization, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and email marketing (Mailchimp).
  • Personal passion for creating original content and staying on top of trends.
