About the position

Richmond Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 to gather people passionate about volleyball. Our mission is to create community, wellness, opportunity, and belonging for all people through the sport of volleyball. We are seeking a talented Part-Time Content Creator to develop engaging and original content across various platforms, including social media and websites. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. The Content Creator will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Additionally, the role involves writing and producing articles and other written content that align with our brand voice and strategy. The successful candidate will also develop multimedia content, including images, videos, and infographics for digital marketing campaigns, and collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas. Monitoring and analyzing content performance metrics to optimize future content is also a key responsibility. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in content creation, social media, and digital marketing is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a content creator, blogger, or similar role.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices.
• Creative mindset with a strong visual and storytelling ability.
