About the position

The Content Creator position at Sinclair Broadcast Group involves creating, conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing engaging content for various platforms, including social media and broadcast TV. The role is part of the Creative Services Team and requires collaboration with commercial clients and internal departments to produce content that meets marketing needs while adhering to brand goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong understanding of social media dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Create content (including video and graphics for social media, broadcast TV, and other delivery streams) for commercial clients and marketing news and entertainment properties.
• Write compelling copy that maximizes audience impact on each platform.
• Interact with Sales, News, Marketing, and management to ensure content aligns with brand goals.
• Explore innovative ways to create content that efficiently reaches audiences.
• Meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality content.
• Work directly with commercial clients to fulfill their marketing needs.
• Participate in station events and community appearances.
• Maintain a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects.
• A resume reel showcasing personal, academic, and professional projects.
• Talent for writing engaging and imaginative copy.
• Ability to shoot captivating, cinematic video.
• A college degree and two years of experience in social or broadcast content creation (professionally or academically).
• Ability to produce content from conception to post, including scripting, shooting, and editing.
• Strong shooting skills and understanding of graphics and visual effects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of top social media platforms and best posting practices.
• Highly creative with strong communication skills.
• Good client relations experience.
