About the position

Direct Mortgage Loans is seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator to join our marketing team. This hybrid (in office/remote) role involves developing and producing compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a passion for creating engaging content across multiple platforms. The Content Creator will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and engaging our audience through various forms of media. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy across social media, video, and website platforms. You will create informative, engaging, and visually appealing content, including social media posts, videos, and blog articles. Conducting in-depth research on industry trends and competitor analysis will be essential to ensure that our content remains relevant and competitive. You will also manage and maintain brand consistency across all channels, collaborating closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that effectively communicate our message. Utilizing design software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, along with video editing tools like CapCut, you will produce high-quality content that captivates our audience. Additionally, you will explore podcast creation opportunities to expand our content reach and manage and organize content files for efficient retrieval and distribution. Distributing content across all relevant platforms according to the content calendar and measuring and analyzing content performance to optimize results will also be part of your responsibilities. Occasional travel may be required, and you will edit client videos according to company standards and client specifications, capturing video footage using a camera or smartphone as needed for content creation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
  • Proficiency in design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools (CapCut).
  • Experience with podcast creation and editing (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid work environment.
