About the position

As a Content Designer II at Pinterest, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience through effective content design. Your primary responsibility will be to advocate for the Pinterest user experience by utilizing language and information design to create meaningful product experiences. This involves crafting, writing, editing, testing, and improving content that enhances usability across various product flows, UI language, in-product education, product naming, and navigation design. You will be expected to use empathy, logic, and data to inform your design choices, conducting audits and leading brainstorming sessions to identify patterns and design optimal content experiences. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing teams, and business stakeholders to establish cohesive experiences that maintain a unified voice. You will also need to become an expert in understanding your audience, tuning into research to grasp their needs and incorporating human voices into problem statements and product UI. This position is designed for someone who is strategic and understands how to leverage content design to define product vision and narratives across multiple platforms. A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to simplify and enhance user experiences is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
