About the position

As a Content Designer at TEKsystems, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to creating and maintaining the platform that powers the reality headset. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience for developers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to craft immersive experiences. The developer ecosystem team connects Mixed and Augmented Reality developers with consumers seeking innovative and engaging experiences. With the platform's growing popularity, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team. In this position, you will drive work across the MR developer team, focusing on supporting developers to deliver world-class consumer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a strong UX writer with a background in digital applications, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, human language. You may also engage in some work within the device itself. You will thrive in this role if you are a self-starter who excels at simplifying complex information. Comfort with technical details and the ability to manage multiple requirements will be essential for delivering consistent, high-quality, and accurate work. You should be solutions-oriented, capable of driving alignment among various stakeholders, and able to advocate for the importance of content design. This role requires a balance of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on writing and editing for mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with product designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to develop, validate, and iterate content strategy and interface copy.
• Create new ways of describing concepts that do not yet exist.
• Communicate progress and ensure alignment with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Apply and maintain consistency with content standards, including voice and tone.
• Share your work and provide feedback to teammates.
• Execute responsibilities in a fast-paced, goals-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content design or related field.
• Ability to write high-quality, error-free content under tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to team documentation, including new terminology and templates.
• Ensure all content is consistent with existing company content standards and brand style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in marketing and/or writing for growth-focused digital products.
• Familiarity with new technologies and digital platforms, particularly VR.
• Experience with end-to-end campaign work focused on user/customer activation.
