About the position

The Content Designer at Meta is responsible for crafting clear and human-centered product experiences through effective language and design. This role involves designing product flows, in-product language, and content frameworks across various platforms, including mobile, desktop, AR/VR, and voice. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create intuitive products and services that are used by billions globally.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, edit, and test clear in-product language to assist users and teams in achieving their goals.
  • Create product flows, interface language, educational materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, and taxonomies across Meta products.
  • Apply systems thinking to define design system guidance, conduct audits, and create information architecture.
  • Review code to ensure in-product language is implemented correctly and create logic for personalized user experiences.
  • Solicit and provide feedback from UX design peers to enhance product quality.
  • Develop high-fidelity design mocks using Figma.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science teams to launch products.
  • Work with the internationalization team to ensure high-quality product experiences in all languages.
  • Shape product narratives and team direction through sound judgment and strategic input.
  • Identify and work on cross-team projects independently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in UX writing.
  • Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks that influenced team decision-making.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
  • Experience with design systems and systems thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with minimal direction and navigate ambiguity.
