About the position

The Instructional Designer and Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and standardizing training and talent development content within an established employment services company. This role focuses on developing new training materials and enhancing existing resources to support organizational excellence and employee growth.

Responsibilities

• Create new training support materials and standardize existing resources.
• Develop hand-outs, course guides, manuals, PowerPoint decks, infographics, process flows, and e-learning courses.
• Work with design style-sheets to ensure a consistent professional look for training materials.
• Collaborate with team members to innovate and improve training content.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver training formats effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional design and technical writing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to create clear and visually appealing educational materials.
• Experience with training formats including PowerPoint, hand-outs, training guides, and workbooks.
• Familiarity with e-learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Attention to detail and exceptional time/project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with design software such as Photoshop or similar tools.
• Background in creating e-learning/web/video content.
