About the position

BAE Systems is seeking Content Editors to support government customers in a classified environment, serving as the OSINT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security and declassification. The role involves drafting Security Classification Guides (SCGs), participating in program planning, and ensuring effective classification management across various security levels.

Responsibilities

  • Draft Security Classification Guides (SCGs) in accordance with DoD Manual 5200.01 Volume 1 and DoD Manual 5200.45.
  • Participate in program and project planning efforts to evaluate security requirements.
  • Prepare SCG staff packages for routing and approval.
  • Facilitate a standardized classification management program at Unclassified, Controlled, SECRET, and TS//SCI levels.
  • Review classification guidance to ensure correct guidance is available to users.
  • Interpret or develop general policy direction for organization-wide application.
  • Conduct oversight reviews on the effectiveness of classification management programs and policies for assigned projects/programs.
  • Develop and implement guidelines to meet DoD, DIA, and IC regulations.
  • Review Service and other SCGs as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related intelligence area with 8+ years of experience in intelligence-related field with government security policy experience within the last 2 years, or 10+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree in a related intelligence area with 12+ years of experience in intelligence-related field with government security policy experience within the last 2 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable of and able to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Prior military or government analytical experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (e.g., U.S. Army OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO, defense or IC equivalent).
  • Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the IC/DoD.
