About the position

Emily's Hope is seeking a dedicated and innovative full-time Content & Event Marketing Manager who believes in our mission to remove the stigma of substance use disorder through awareness, education, prevention, and financial support for treatment and recovery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing our social media platforms, producing and editing website content, and leading the planning and execution of our fundraising events, including our signature art show and auction. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Emily's Hope's mission and goals. You will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across various platforms, including blogs, all social media channels, YouTube, newsletters, podcasts, and websites. Your writing and editing skills will be crucial as you produce high-quality content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, case studies, social media updates, podcast descriptions, and newsletters. Additionally, you will produce and edit multimedia content, including graphic designs and videos, to enhance our outreach efforts. As the Content & Event Marketing Manager, you will also lead the planning, organization, and execution of fundraising events, ensuring that they run smoothly from start to finish. This includes coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and collaborating with team members and volunteers to ensure successful event execution. You must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends for events, demonstrating your commitment to our mission and the success of our initiatives. Furthermore, you will ensure that all content and event materials are on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice. Maintaining and updating the Emily's Hope website will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that it features accurate and engaging content that reflects our mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of practical experience in content creation, social media management, and event planning.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce compelling marketing content.
  • Proficiency in using content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as video and audio editing software.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing content strategies.
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, strategic, and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
