About the position

The Content Experience Specialist role at KCM Technical is a contract position focused on creating innovative and engaging content experiences for healthcare professionals. This position involves developing and executing content strategies that align with marketing objectives, utilizing insights to craft compelling communications, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize content across digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner in the development of content and communications plans for the Interventional Coronary Therapies franchise.
  • Utilize research and insights to identify key points of differentiation and messaging themes.
  • Lead the development of message maps and brand strategies, creating compelling content and assets.
  • Manage vendors and agencies to ensure initiatives meet objectives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with analytics resources to test content types and demonstrate performance, translating insights into new opportunities.
  • Build and manage cross-functional relationships with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Design, and other relevant teams.
  • Ensure content consistency with established guidelines and processes, providing recommendations as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders, managing expectations and timelines.
  • Stay updated on communications and industry trends, sharing learnings with the internal team.
  • Serve as a thought leader by sharing knowledge and best practices with team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of content strategy and/or marketing campaign experience in regulated healthcare environments such as med device, pharma, or biotech.
  • Experience in developing content from concept through production for multiple channels, with a focus on digital storytelling and asset creation.
  • Some copywriting experience is required.
  • Understanding of brand management principles and experience managing agency and vendor partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and drive business objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in creative services, consulting, or strategic marketing as acceptable proxies for the required experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate in a team-based environment.
