About the position

The Content Management System (CMS) Manager at Teaching Strategies, LLC is responsible for leading the content strategy and managing the day-to-day operations of the CMS. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure digital content is efficiently organized, validated, and accessible, while also providing user support and training. The CMS Manager plays a crucial role in aligning content management with the company's goals and enhancing the user experience through effective content processes and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the content strategy for the content management system, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the CMS content roadmap, structure, and architecture.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the CMS, including content migration, organization, tagging, maintenance, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with author, editorial, product, and engineering teams to define requirements for new projects and improve content processes.
  • Perform content analysis and documentation and assist in the ingestion and validation of multimedia early childhood educational curricular content.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance through metrics and user feedback, generating reports to inform decision-making.
  • Provide support for internal users of the CMS, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a smooth user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in content management, digital publishing, or a similar role, preferably in the educational or publishing sector.
  • Ability to understand CMS technical details, explain best practices, and make recommendations to stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
