About the position

The Content Marketing and SEO Manager at ProjectorScreen.com is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance online visibility, drive website traffic, and engage the target audience through effective content marketing, SEO, and social media management. This role combines expertise in SEO best practices with content creation and social media management to create cohesive digital campaigns that foster brand awareness and optimize content for search engines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to the website.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify SEO opportunities and inform content creation.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, internal linking, and keyword placement.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into blog posts, landing pages, and other digital content.
  • Conduct regular site audits to resolve technical SEO issues and improve website performance.
  • Develop high-quality, SEO-optimized content for blogs, social media, website pages, and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with the brand's voice, audience preferences, and SEO guidelines.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and video editors to create multimedia content.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities to produce new content based on keyword research, user intent, and search trends.
  • Optimize all content for both user experience (UX) and SEO.
  • Develop and manage the company's social media platforms, posting regular content that promotes engagement and growth.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and participate in relevant conversations to build community and foster brand loyalty.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience preferences, and platform updates to keep the brand current and relevant.
  • Create and maintain social media content calendars to ensure consistent, on-brand posts and interactions.
  • Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including building high-quality backlinks.
  • Manage relationships with influencers, bloggers, and partners to increase referral traffic and improve domain authority.
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, integrating SEO, content, and social media strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of SEO efforts, social media campaigns, and content strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or related field (nice to have but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic.
  • Experience managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
  • Excellent writing and content creation skills with a focus on SEO-optimized content.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with paid social media advertising and influencer marketing.
  • Knowledge of local SEO strategies and optimizing for Google My Business.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or Cart.com.
