About the position

The Content Marketing Coordinator at WithumSmith+Brown is responsible for executing content creation and strategy in collaboration with the Director of Communications and various marketing teams. This role focuses on producing high-quality content across multiple platforms, optimizing it for search engines, and ensuring brand consistency. The coordinator will also analyze content performance metrics to drive engagement and growth, contributing significantly to the firm's marketing campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Communications to execute a content strategy that aligns with marketing and business goals.
  • Create and edit high-value content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, proposals, and email campaigns.
  • Partner with the design team to produce high-quality short to medium form content, including multimedia.
  • Assist with social media posting using management tools and collaborate on engaging content creation.
  • Collaborate with industry marketers and SMEs to brainstorm, plan, develop, review, and execute content marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on keyword research and use SEO best practices to create and optimize content.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
  • Create and populate industry editorial calendars with niche marketers, providing topic ideas.
  • Coordinate inbound content publication requests, ensuring consistent quality and tone.
  • Safeguard content quality, brand tone of voice, and style across communication channels.
  • Update cross-functional marketing teams with trending content to elevate brand experience.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging content marketing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, marketing communications, news media, or a related field.
  • Ability to use storytelling to engage readers.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-digest thoughts.
  • Creative, innovative, and strategic mindset.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
  • Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Effective time and project management skills.
