Israel's national airline, EL AL Israel Airlines, is seeking a talented Content Marketing Editor to spearhead strategic digital marketing initiatives. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including content creation, review, updates, and website maintenance assistance, as well as social media management. The ideal candidate will be a creative marketing professional with a strong writing background, capable of developing engaging content that attracts and retains customers while enhancing the user experience throughout the booking journey. Staying current with new technologies and marketing trends is essential for this position. The ultimate goal is to expand EL AL's digital footprint, drive brand awareness, and foster customer engagement and loyalty. The Content Marketing Editor will be based at EL AL's Americas Headquarters in South Florida and will report directly to the Director of Marketing for the Americas. This position requires a proactive approach to designing content marketing strategies and setting short-term goals that align with business targets. The successful candidate will collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high-quality content, develop an editorial and social calendar, and ensure that all content is delivered on time. Additionally, the role involves editing, proofreading, and optimizing content for SEO and Google Analytics, analyzing web traffic metrics, and sharing content across various channels to maintain a strong web presence. The Content Marketing Editor will also be responsible for developing customer surveys, gathering feedback, and generating ideas to enhance customer engagement. Ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging across all communication platforms is crucial, as is supporting customer service issues in the U.S. via social media. Compliance with accessibility standards in accordance with ADA and DOT regulations is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS degree in marketing, journalism, or relevant field
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Proven work experience in content marketing
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Content Management Software
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Expertise in social media platforms
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Hebrew-language is advantageous
  • Travel industry experience is advantageous
