About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at the American Association for Anatomy (AAA) is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the association's membership, meetings, products, and services. This part-time role requires collaboration with various departments to create engaging content across digital platforms, ensuring effective communication and outreach to the association's community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote membership, meetings, products, and services.
  • Create and manage engaging content for the website, blog, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Communications, Membership, and Meetings & Education Departments.
  • Interact professionally and collaboratively with team members and volunteers.
  • Problem-solve and think creatively to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a scientific/medical association or nonprofit organization.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience using association management systems (AMS) such as iMIS Cloud is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and proof-reading skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Experience with outreach and placing advertisements.
