About the position

As a Content Marketing Manager at Seam, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's visibility through the creation and promotion of high-quality technical content. Your primary focus will be on producing a diverse range of content types, including in-depth articles, product announcements, case studies, newsletters, customer testimonials, product reviews, and videos. This content will not only highlight our innovative products but also showcase the unique use cases of our clients, providing valuable insights into the IoT industry. In this position, you will be responsible for creating monthly case studies and video testimonials for our marquee clients, leading the production of our bi-weekly newsletter in collaboration with the product team, and developing thought leadership content that delves into IoT-related topics. You will also work on expanding our audience across major platforms such as Hacker News, Reddit, Twitter, and LinkedIn, driving engagement and awareness of Seam's offerings. Ownership of the content calendar will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that all content is created and distributed on schedule. You will utilize Figma to produce graphics and presentations, collaborating with graphic designers to ensure that all content aligns with our brand requirements. Additionally, you will direct and edit videos to ensure they are both engaging and informative, contributing to a cohesive content strategy that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Create monthly case studies and video testimonials for marquee clients.
  • Lead the production of a bi-weekly newsletter in collaboration with the product team.
  • Develop thought leadership content with in-depth articles on IoT-related topics.
  • Grow the audience across major channels such as Hacker News, Reddit, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Take ownership of the content calendar, ensuring timely creation and distribution of content.
  • Produce graphics and presentations using Figma, collaborating with graphic designers.
  • Direct and edit videos to ensure they are engaging and informative.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven content marketing experience across various content types including longform and short form content, preferably in tech.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills to articulate complex product features into compelling content.
  • Strong project management skills to create a scalable content production/management engine.
  • Demonstrated success in turning content into traffic and engaging audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design using Figma.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics.
