About the position

Bostrom Corporation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Content Marketing Manager to join our team and oversee the development and execution of content marketing strategies for multiple clients. As a leading Association Management Company, we are dedicated to providing exceptional services to our diverse range of association clients. The Content Marketing Manager will spearhead the development and execution of content strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness for Bostrom and our association clients. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to identify their unique business objectives, target audiences, and key messages to craft compelling content campaigns. The Content Marketing Manager will manage the content creation process from ideation and writing to distribution and performance analysis. You will work directly with Account Executives (AE) to provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize content performance and achieve measurable results. This position requires a strong understanding of various marketing channels, including web, print, email, social media, and newsletters, to effectively plan, develop, and implement content marketing strategies. In addition to content strategy and execution, the role includes social media management, where you will design, build, and maintain the social media presence for clients as needed. You will develop engaging content and manage social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement. Performance analysis is also a key component of this role, as you will measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing effectiveness against goals, ROI, and KPIs to ensure successful outcomes. The Content Marketing Manager will also be responsible for identifying trends and insights to optimize marketing spend and performance, using data-driven insights to refine and enhance marketing strategies. You will brainstorm and propose innovative and creative growth strategies to elevate client visibility and engagement, while also planning, executing, and evaluating experiments and content strategies across traditional and digital channels to continuously improve marketing efforts. Collaboration with internal teams to create and optimize landing pages and user experiences for special campaigns and initiatives is essential, as is staying abreast of emerging technologies and providing thought leadership and recommendations for adopting new tools and technologies where appropriate.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience.
  • Proven experience in writing, managing, and implementing content marketing strategies, including contact database management, email marketing, social media, print production, and ad management.
  • Highly creative with a demonstrated ability to identify target audiences and design compelling digital campaigns that drive engagement and motivate action.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Skilled in setting up and optimizing Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Strong skills in customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Association Management Company (AMC) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated personal integrity in all interactions and communications with Bostrom staff and clients.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently across departments and with clients, offering assistance and sharing information as needed.
