About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at Bostrom is responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies for a diverse range of association clients. This role focuses on driving engagement and brand awareness through collaboration with clients to identify their business objectives and target audiences. The manager will oversee the entire content creation process, from ideation to performance analysis, ensuring that campaigns are effective and aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives and client teams to plan, develop, and implement content marketing strategies across various channels including web, print, email, social media, and newsletters.
  • Design, build, and maintain the social media presence for clients as needed, developing engaging content and managing social media campaigns.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing effectiveness against goals, ROI, and KPIs.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize marketing spend and performance, using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Brainstorm and propose innovative and creative growth strategies to elevate client visibility and engagement.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate experiments and content strategies across traditional and digital channels to continuously improve marketing efforts.
  • Work with internal teams to create and optimize landing pages and user experiences for special campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and recommendations for adopting new tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience.
  • Proven experience in writing, managing, and implementing content marketing strategies, including contact database management, email marketing, social media, print production, and ad management.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Skilled in setting up and optimizing Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Strong skills in customer service, organization, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Association or Association Management Company (AMC) experience is a plus.
  • Highly creative with a demonstrated ability to identify target audiences and design compelling digital campaigns that drive engagement and motivate action.
