About the position

The Content Marketing Leader/Managing Editor for Constellations will be responsible for leading the content strategy and development for the publication, which focuses on the evolving satellite and space industry. This role involves creating compelling stories, managing editorial calendars, and directing freelance contributors to inform professionals about technology advances and trends in space-based communications.

Responsibilities

• Developing story ideas and editorial calendars for Constellations and related programs
• Writing articles for publication
• Developing and directing freelance contributors
• Conceiving inventive content communication ideas such as infographics and videos
• Contributing to social media programs

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in marketing communications or journalism
• Familiarity and experience with technology, particularly in the space, telecommunication, or IT industries
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience writing and promoting web content
• Knowledge of SEO is a plus
• Public relations experience is helpful
• BA/BS in marketing, journalism, or other communications fields
