About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at Optikos Corporation is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with the company's marketing objectives. This role involves creating high-quality content across various channels, managing a content calendar, and collaborating with different departments to enhance brand awareness and drive conversions. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and strategic skills, with a focus on producing engaging content that resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with Optikos' marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Create and manage a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery across all platforms (email, social media, website, trade shows/events).
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for content creation.
  • Stay on top of content marketing trends and bring new ideas for exploration and testing.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content in various formats, including blog posts, landing pages, white papers, and videos.
  • Manage the updating of Optikos website content as needed.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of a monthly eNewsletter, ensuring it is engaging and informative.
  • Manage special projects to promote Optikos expertise and offerings, including at external trade shows and events.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice, and style.
  • Maximize the value and reach of content by creating derivative pieces for multiple channels.
  • Measure and report on content performance; optimize based on results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing or a related role; experience with B2B or B2C tech preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content.
  • Experience in creating and managing newsletters and other external communications.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft CRM Dynamics, web content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools (MailChimp), project and social media management software (Loomly), basic HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics.
