About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at Shelf is responsible for syndicating fresh content published weekly on the company's YouTube channel across various written channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and the company blog. This role aims to drive quality leads and enhance brand awareness through strategic content marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Leadership Team and internal subject matter experts to create engaging content that resonates with the audience and supports marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to develop original content in various formats.
  • Own, manage, and execute the weekly content calendar for consistent publishing.
  • Publish engaging content daily across social media channels, mailing lists, and the blog.
  • Maximize content value by creating derivative pieces from high-performing assets.
  • Build and execute content strategies that support marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and production teams to optimize content across the buyer journey.
  • Ensure best practices in messaging, grammar, writing, and style are followed.
  • Measure and report on content performance; optimize based on results.
  • Develop standards, processes, and tools for greater efficiency in cross-functional teamwork.
  • Stay updated on content marketing trends and propose new ideas for exploration.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a content marketing role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of Apple, Google, and project management products.
