This suite now encompasses an ATS and Assessment platform, designed to foster meaningful connections between talented individuals and organizations. The Content Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for overseeing the entire content generation process, including the development of a content calendar and roadmap that focuses on customer-centric solutions. The goal is to address the audience's most pressing pain points, thereby creating a deep connection to Spark Hire's products. In this role, the Content Marketing Manager will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals. This includes implementing SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and search rankings, as well as monitoring and analyzing content performance to refine strategies. The manager will collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content pieces. Additionally, the role involves producing high-quality, problem-focused content assets such as webinars, e-books, and white papers, while also repurposing existing content to maximize reach across various channels. The Content Marketing Manager will also engage with the audience by creating case studies and customer stories, utilizing customer feedback to enhance engagement initiatives. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the manager will prioritize content requests, work with subject matter experts, and ensure that all content adheres to brand standards. This position is crucial for positioning Spark Hire as an industry thought leader through effective content marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with brand, marketing goals and business objectives.
  • Develop content promotion strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance to refine and optimize content strategies.
  • Analyze data from surveys, benchmarks, studies, customer behaviors and competitor insight to develop themes, trends and storylines that drive content marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and manage a consistent cross-functional editorial calendar.
  • Analyze the impact of content and prioritize the roadmap based on content that builds our brand, drives traffic, and converts.
  • Proactively measure and communicate key content KPIs, bringing a strong perspective on what ‘good' looks like.
  • Ensure timely delivery for all content pieces.
  • Help build the foundation and maintain and develop Spark Hire voice and tone.
  • Produce best-in-class, problem-focused content assets such as webinars, e-books, white papers, data reports for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Repurpose long-form virtual events or content pieces for short form clips or snackable snippets to extend messaging channels.
  • Update existing content to improve SEO and drive conversions and repurpose content across multiple channels.
  • Scale content creation velocity as needed through AI/automation tools and processes.
  • Serve as an editorial eye for content created by cross-functional partners to maintain brand standards.
  • Create case studies and customer stories highlighting community members and customers.
  • Gather and utilize customer feedback to develop initiatives that increase engagement.
  • Manage and prioritize content requests, interview and/or ghostwrite with subject matter experts, and serve as the primary editor across teams.
  • Collaborate on the company story and vision with the leadership team, product marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with growth marketing to ensure content helps us hit pipeline goals through SEO and gated content production, while also meeting our quality bar.
  • Position company as industry thought leader through content.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally at SaaS companies
  • Familiarity with talent acquisition, recruiting, hiring or HR technology
  • Equally comfortable writing and editing with a high quality bar
  • Proven ability to both set content marketing strategy and create content
  • Experience managing a content roadmap and editorial calendar
  • Passion for educating audiences through industry-leading content
  • Communication: The ability to clearly and effectively convey, receive and interpret information and ideas through verbal, written and visual channels.
  • Attention to Detail: Achieves a high standard of thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task with concern for all areas involved.
  • Strategic Thinking: The capability to understand organizational position in comparison to market and industry trends in order to identify objectives and priorities consistent with the long term interests of the organization in a global environment.
